Ahmed Hossam,
All the tools and links are very good...., followed every step verbatim, and it worked with no issues or hiccup so far. Now I'm able to use Virtual Box or VMware... with virtualization enbaled.
Many Thanks Prof.A

Hello xir98,

1.) Does your hard drive light illuminate as it normally would upon computer boot up? If so, #2 will likely solve your issue as this means that your BIOS is not bricked. If your hard drive light illuminates, but #2 does not solve your problem, then the BIOS can be normally flashed (with the original unmodified BIOS image) from DOS using the steps here. Be sure to follow the steps for Phoenix BIOSes. If #1 and #2 do not work, continue to #3.

2.) Try clearing the CMOS settings. There may be an incompatible setting set. To do this, remove the CMOS battery, laptop battery, and power adapter for 10 minutes. During these 10 minutes, hold the power button for at least 15 seconds to dissipate any remaining power.

3.) There is a BIOS recovery method for Phoenix BIOSes known as CRISIS. Please visit this page for instructions on how to use it.

Hello xir98,

Have you tried CRISIS BIOS recovery? You should try this before ordering the chip.

Hello xir98,

I have created a list of possible CRISIS recovery key combinations on this page.

Try these and post your results. Make sure that all power sources are disconnected before you start pressing and holding each of the key combinations.

Opened the laptop and removed the cmos batterie over night but it also did not change anything.

Any idee where the eprom chip is located?
