Acer Aspire 7540G { Unlocked BIOS in post #13 }
#31
Hello xir98,

Try looking at the "bottom" of the motherboard for the area where the CMOS battery is. Usually, the BIOS chip is located somewhere in this area. Most of the time, the "top" would be where the CPU and fan(s) are.

This is from my experience, but may or may not apply to your computer.

!!!!!PLEASE READ!!!!!! Our Ukrainian friends are undergoing atrocities right now and need support. There are two things you can do for starters:

1.) Donate to one of various organizations offering medical, military, and psychological support to those impacted: Support Organizations

2.) Combat misinformation on social media.

Also, please feel free to PM me if I have not replied again about your BIOS mod request after 5 days.

Hi friend,
on Acer site there is only two models Aspire 7540 and G versions and They have same MoBo so
same Bios !!!
If your is a 7540 or 7540G You have to use the original Acer version 1.11 and the can use the
Ahmed Hossam Modded version (2nd new vesion !!! as 1st Brick laptop !!!)
If your Bios is just updated to 1.11 You can flash the Modded One without update original.

Hello first thanks for your fast reply, i never have flashed a phoenix bios so the mod.rar in #13 have 2 files : Bios.wph and Bios.rom

But here in the bios tutorial here https://www.bios-mods.com/bios-update/ i cant find the way to flash them. Also looked in the thread and nothing posted about how to flash them. thank you.

Hi,
I have Acer 7540g and I would like to flash bios because I need Advanced Tab in Bios menu. I want to disable bios shadowing but I have problem "how to flash bios?". I have flash drive with crisis tool, I put there bios.wph, minidos.sys and phlash16.exe and I don't know what next. I try to use Fn + B button, also combination like Fn + Esc or Win + B but nothing works. Any idea how I can resolve my problem?
