Acer Aspire E700 R01-B0 With Unlocked Overclocking Options

Hi so i made a boot dvd disc and when it booted i got to a black screen then i typed in awdfl882.exe bios.BIN /cc/py/sn/r and it says bad command? do you happen to know what im doing wrong? and is using a dvd okay becouse i tried to use my usb key but my computer won't let me make it bootable ? THANKS for the help tho im a big noob at this

You need to make sure you are replacing bios.bin with the name of the actual bios you are flashing. Try renaming the flash tool to awdflash.exe and make sure it is in the root directory with the bios file.

hey i just tried renaming it the way you said and im still getting the same bad command ... i guess im try going to a friends house tomorrow and see if his usb port can make the usb key boot to dos then try to do it that way ,
see if that makes any difference thx for the help tho

hey i just noticed that right before i get to that black screen where i type it says device driver not found :mscd001 no valid cdrom device drivers selected and ive been tryin to look for my dvd rom driver but no luck ?? do you guys know anything else i can try but i guess i should wait till tomorrow and try using usb key?

yes try using usb drive , the dos emulation loads a generic cd driver so it can read the disc , you cant change this , its just the way the disc was made

so i tried agian using usb and did everything you guys said and everything worked out like it finished and was restarting then it just went to a black screen do you guys know if theres a way to fix this or is my mobo gone for good??

yeah i have the same one all i have is a black screen right now everything sounds like it has power coming to it but nothing on the screen i tried taking out the battery and the cmos jumper for about and hour and putting it back on but no luck i think im try the crysis recovery disc tonight see if that works if it doesnt i think im just buy a new motherboard ...

hey Quadcore i just bought a new motherboard so yeah i brought it in and they couldnt even fix it so its up to you if you want to try i think what messed mines up was maybe becouse i left the usb key in and didnt take it out after the flash i dont knw if that had anything to do with it but that seems to make the most sense i think? i think i could just have been the unlucky one but i got a new asus P5Q -E now i can overclock and change my settings without worryin

and black screen...
