The solution is not to flash from Within Windows!

Create a bootable USB drive or a bootable Floppy/CD containg the DOS files , awdflash.exe flashing utlity and bios.bin file

type at the prompt:-

awdflash.exe bios.bin /py /sn /cc /r

Replace bios.bin with the correct filename for the bios file

I tried this morning.
I copied all the files to C:/
boot system into NTFS DOS from CD-ROM
typed in awdflash.exe bios.bin /py /sn /sb /cc /r
it gave me error message, "the program file's part number does not match wiht your system"
I tried awdflash 8.94 8.66 8.64 8.52
they all gave me this message.
was there anything I did wrong?
where can I find out Part number??

Please try this awdflash and see if its any different

Im also not sure what the /sb switch is on the end of the command. /py = Program (Yes) /sn = Save Backup (No) /cc Clear CMOS and /r Restart. Whats /sb??

Best of luck
