Please use this BIOS from us for the Acer E380. It has full overclocking support and has an option to enable virtualization. For the correct instructions, please visit this page for detailed instructions:

Absoluteley GREAT WORK!!!!

I try it on my Acer Aspire E380 with Athlon 64 X2 Processor 4000+. And it works!!!

Before it works i had some problems.

- I got an error-message called: the files do not match with my system. I solved it with the command line option awdflash ***.bin /NBL
- after rebooting bios demanded a bios-password. Okay that is easy: I set the clear-cmos-jumper near by the sata-connectors
- I enabled Virtualisation in CPU-Features - SIW told me Virtualization was still disabled
- I disabled Virtualization in CPU-Features - and SIW told me Virtualization is enabled
- After disabling Virtualization Hyper-V told me Hypervisor couldn't start
- So, i enabled Virtualization again in modded bios
- amazing is the fact, that SIW after the steps before still told me Virtualization is enabled. But it doesn't matter at all it works properly!
- After rebooting and installing a virtual Server 2008 R2 in Hyper-V, the Virtual Server starts without any error-messages Cool

a lot of thanks - you saved me a lot of money Smile
