I have 2 Supermicro X9SRI-3F and 2 LGA 2011 ES-2650's. Both unit's power up for about 10 seconds and power off.
I have confirmed it it not a short. Pulled everything out and tested at a bench. Both ECC RDIMMs and Non-ECC UDIMMs haven't changed the situation. I'm guessing I am in a similar boat to the thread below.
http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1684507&page=1. I though I read somewhere that the X9DAI DP boards can handle these chips. I was hoping to see if microcode could be added to the X9SRI as well.
