Thank you! What a nice surprise, I didn't even realize there was a beta BIOS available.

I've tested 0706 and it works great. I will try out 0902 maybe this weekend.

Use a permanent slic
1. first original P8Z68-V-PRO-ASUS-1101.ROM
2. P8Z68-V-PRO-ASUS-1101 PERMANENT.exe
a) BIOSBAK.exe
b) BIOSMOD.exe
3. original P8Z68-V-PRO-ASUS-1101.ROM
4. Check Slic
after you do not have to make a request to update the BIOS

after 1101 PERMANENT, you can use any version of the slic will remain in place

If you unzip that .exe, it's included in there. I'm just trying to figure out how to use all of these .exes

Apparently, the P8Z68-V-PRO-ASUS-1101 PERMANENT.exe file creates a bootable USB thumbdrive.
