Exclamation
Hy there,
I have a notebook Asus x59sl and I have a problem:
In the notebook there is a ATI Mobility HD 3470 but its underclocked from 680 Mhz to 250 gpu in 3D and memory also from 400 to 300 what is awful.
Moreover there is no way to overclock this card and i cant save my vga bios with gpu-z or ati winflash to edit..
I know its because of the heating problems but if i play the gpu temperature avg 50-60 C°
And as i read the mobility-s VGA bioses are in the main bios or something like that. Is it true? Can you modify this?or extract the vga bios and send me?or are you know any solution for this, its really annoying me..
why are they put such a video card if its so underclocked..
I really hope you can help me..

Its pitty, I heard about MMtool but I couldn't download until today.
Today I found a site, I downloaded,I could open my bios with this, I could extract modules. I think the 'Display Manager' will be. But Radedit or atibios edit didn't support this file.

http://download.softpedia.com/dl/7d3f9ad...l_3.19.exe

Here is MMtool. Now,i shearcing program which can edit this, or maybe you know. I will write again if something happened.Anyway if you know something useful then post me. Rolleyes
Bye.

Hi to everybody Wink ANYONE CAN HELP PLEASE

My name's Tim and I need some help regarding an old asus bios which prevents win8.1 and win10 to be installed. After booting with win8.1/10 USB installer, my laptop is turning-off after few minutes of loading.

Now, my Asus X59SL has no operating system and has AMI bios version 308. The mother board bios name is F5SL. Hard disk is formatted. Original bios is in default mode. From what I can read, Microsoft does not support X59SL since Win 8.1 and Asus had stopped updating bios since v.308.

Could someone modify my rom to permit win8.1 or win10 to start installation loading successfully please (I have tried to pre-install windows files in HDD but same issue, laptop turns off after minutes of loading screen). IT HAS TO BE WITH SOMETHING to add in bios I guess, not unlocking since there is nothing more in the rom.

I think it has to be related to some bios system informations not transmitted to windows installation maybe, or missing pci driver which make laptop reboots...
I'm sure it could help so many people like me Wink

Things I've tried : checked my ram with memory tool and it's ok after 2 passes. checked my hard drive, low level formatted, checked thermo temp and my laptop is not hot at all, tried reinstalled windows 7 and 8 everything worked fine.

Thank you in advance for your help.
