Definitions for noobs?

I guess this can fall under a wiki, but I think we should have a glossary of terms for us noobs.

For example, what is a SLIC request? Do all of us need it?

Along the lines of that, perhaps best for an FAQ section, but just trying to make this place more-user friendly for noobs.

Thank you for your suggestions.

We are currently in the process of building a "BIOS Settings Glossary," but I do agree that expanding the pool of definitions to incorporate not only terms that relate to settings, but also the modding process would be a great idea.
