Dell Inspiron 530 RAID + SLIC 2.1 Update

Hi,

I've just got an SSD for my Dell 530, I did have the BIOS from http://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-De...l-2-1-SLIC installed which worked fine with the HDD only attached.
But when installing the SSD the computer would not cold boot from the SSD, it would find it but mark it as non bootable for some reason. Ctrl-Alt-Del a couple of times would make the bios find the SDD and be able to boot from it but who want's to do that every time you trun the PC on.
So about 01:00 last night I found this thread http://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-De...RAID-8-7-0 with the 1.0.18 BIOS modded with updated RAID firmware, which I installed and now the PC will boot nicely from the SSD from cold. Unfortunately the modded BIOS did not come with SLIC 2.1, but credits to the guy who put it together!

My request is to get the BIOS with the updated RAID firmware for the ICH9 which is available from http://www.bios-mods.com/forum/attachment.php?aid=1379 updated to include the Dell SLIC 2.1 cert.

I'm attaching the BIOS with what I believe is the correct 2.1 Dell cert, maybe it can be extracted.

Just to be extra clear, what I would like is the DellInspiron530-18-RAID87-IBA1310-NoAHCI.BIN bios updated with the 2.1 cert from the 713D1P53.BIN bios.

Seems to work.

* Didn't brick my PC.
* RAID version is 8.7
* SLIC is 2.1

It appears that there was a newer 1.0.18 mod from Dansolo than the original poster provided.

This one apparently includes updates to the VGA BIOS, LAN ROM and includes AHCI ROM. Also includes RAID.

Would someone confirm whether this newer mod includes SLIC 2.1 and if not please perform the editing that sovem performed.
