Sovem will answer better to You request, all I know that when laptp is sold It has the last bios version preloaded, It is unlocked and has Descriptors unlocked, then when user update or reflash an bios upgrade UEFI It will lock Bios and give some write memory error, so SecureFlash act !
If You remember have had done before flashing modded one I can explain by this way, some users have their bios free to flash and all go well Others whose update their bioses got SecureFlash error.
In these cases Sovem know what to do by bios backup and FPT, so wait for him, then if He don't take care of You I will try to help You !
