FIC K8MC51G Gateway/Emachines

Hey guys,

I was referred from the My Digital Life forums... I've been successfully using the bios provided here for my FIC K8MC51G (K8MC51G-LF) motherboard that I bought from a distributor..... This bios provided here added the SLIC 2.1 to the NAA24EM.bin and he renamed it NAA26EM.bin after the update.

I was referred by user NoJuan999 who suggested perhaps you could help me in unlocking or creating features for overclocking and tweaking memory settings. I already tried Modbin6 which opened the BIOS but all I could unlock was PCI Configuration and I assume that is only for adjusting the IRQs etc.

kinda crazy because i have the exact same motherboard from an emachines T3410 and i just asked about it on this forum about unlocking the overclocking features

btw i have a modded bin that i overclocked with for that motherboard that i dumped earlier BUT theres no SLIC in it so can you put a SLIC 2.1 in it?

thanks the wiz really awesome i kinda want too help becaue everyone here is just requesting and not helping but i dont know anything about bios hacking so if i can help tell me how

Okay just to confirm things. Right now Im waiting for the link to be corrected for the Emachines. So if they are the exact same bios, should I only do it once or would you like it done twice for in cases.

so wait are the links messed up? and the bios i uploaded that is on my skydrive works for my motherboard becaue if flashed it before and it worked fine but if your more compfortable taking the original and adding the slic and unlocking it your self go right ahead

Here you go, I unlocked everything for Overclocking, RAid, Power Cconfig, you name it. I added the HP SLIC 2.1 using the ISA method.

how do i recover from a bad flash if it happens what do i do

i dont want to be left out in the cold


hey theres a BIG ISSUE!

when i boot up after having installed the BIOS you provided it will boot into windows BUT only if i dont touch any keys during POST if i press F2 key to change the bios settings it says "looking for array"

and i have to restart

i think its the raid setting is looking for raid drives and becaeu i have 3 ide drives hooked up with the third on the dvd drive channel its throwing it off

so can you please disable the raid or if you have a better idea of what is causing this will you fix it
