I have both on my PC testing 10 as it is most popular now among my "friends" to help them lol seems like I successfully migrated win 7 to 10 with all in it... so now have mirror systems 10 and 7 lol Smile
7 wins a bit...

flashed but seems we will have one more flash to do... as RST 11.2.0.1006 is a bit backwards...

must test some more... Fernando is as usual good in coding but... sometimes does plenty professional, wanted by nobody good work...
had some experience from past... was hard lol

One more flash? What do you mean, you want different version of RAID orom now? You can use newer drivers (I think), with same orom in BIOS as now, he just told you best overall performance and compatibility for your system. He knows best from many years of testing and many user reports from various orom/driver tests across many forums.

If you need different, it's OK with me, no problem to changes, but I think you should listen to his advice or at least ask him why your thoughts of newer are not better than what he suggested. Newer is not always better, for performance or compatibility etc.

hi, something went wrong...
The memory does not want to start with 3.2 Xenon 1600 FSB
it starts with 1333 memory 1 GB I do not have more lol,
the mems were not downgradable with this bios to lower clock...
with working memory.
and strange defaults in bios. The system was not stable in bios mode even...
No damage to arrays... all goodSmile all systems on my PC working good.
I had reverted to the previous config, but idk but I do not like
11.2. RST, for me the best driver is 13.6.0.1002
So far tired too much to take another try...
I will test it with speed meter for arrays and compare to previous.
Then will decide.
And yes I will keep this OROM for a while .. like a week or more.
OFC with the different software.
Regards...

Some Xeon are only allowed x8 or x10 memory multiplier (so 133x10)

Driver and orom in BIOS are two totally different things. You can probably use 13.6 driver with the 11.2 orom, did you test that? Or, is that what you mean you are doing now?

Hi Smile after a while...
all this I did was far too early...
I guess I have to come back to previous bios with previous OROM for a while,
will tell you later why.
We have to restart all we did already.
From beginning to successful end Smile
TTY Later Smile

Thank you a million, for be still connected to this thread as I need more help
and am very thankful to you.
Beer is still waiting Smile
I lost access to my RAID5 2x matrixes, one is been able to rebuild (as I can reverse one matrix in raid bios) but the second not, this OROM I have is not allowing a reverse order of disks when you create RAID5 and have only 3 disks left... OMG... LOL, so it has switched them off finally .. what a nice job. I had OFC my disks reversed for clarity in hardware... did not expect that this kind of option can be ever removed from BIOS ...And this is just software Raid.
As the first general option, I will try to do reverse hardware way ... shame to developers from Intel.

1/. So if you can do like this: f12e bios I had uploaded from my PC with just change of Realtec, I will try to recreate both matrixes in OROM they were created.
and
2/.Another f12e with the change of Realtec and OROM,

BOTH: without updating Xeon and memory (if there were ones) let them be like it was working for half +year before. So as they were in downloaded from my life PC.

Very interesting remarks about multiplicator of FSB to memory... during tests I could temporarily get 1600 memory with FSB 1333 Xeon... on 400 base (333 is default) but it was like 10 sec. stable only.
