I tried both files, but I get a bad checksum error. Perhaps I am not doing it right. Can you show me another way?

Unfortunately thats all the help i can offer , take the cover off the side and look for the bios chip on the motherboard. If its in a socket and removable then you can send it to us and we will reprogram it
