Unfortunately Gateway does not offer any BIOS downloads for that specific model.

do you think they will? like maybe its too new or something like that?

could i download a bios update for that motherboard from another site?

can i somehow backup the bios in it right now and upload it somewhere?

Fingers crossed you have an AMI or Award bios , not phoenix because you can use this tool to backup your bios and post it http://dl.dropbox.com/u/747181/Universal...Backup.EXE

However , this tool DOES backup phoenix bioses but they are not flashable afterwards - so hope you have Award/Ami

I see lotsa hidden goodies, but it's wiser to have 1234s282 do the unlocking, as I'm unaware which of them can cause a bad flash.

the current bios already supports I5 and I7 Processors.

Better check to see if the bios chip is socketed.. or we cant help you fix a bad flash.

ya removable. chip is ether soldered to board or in a socket. most newer boards are socketed.. but some are not.
