Every-time I attempt to flash to that version of the BIOS I get the error "This BIOS is not for your notebook PC"

Hello guys, I just registered here and I want to say hello to everyone.
I lurked here and found great informations, but now I have to ask for my personal needs.

I got an HP DV5 1025el (AMD based) with bios F.38.
CPU-Z says that it has a 3600 board.
I wish to remove the whitelist and found this thread:

I checked the HP package for bios updating and it is the same of my dv5-1025el. Unfortunately the link for the patched bios is broken and I can't find a copy anywhere, neither on the first page of this thread. Can please anyone (or maybe TTAV134 himself) post here a copy?

I installed the patched bios and it is working really well!
I tested the whitelist removal with a broadcom and a ralink card and it worked perfectly fine, mine is an atheros card.

This patched bios could be included in the first page of the thread I think, it will work on all AMD-based HP dv5 notebooks, since they share the same bioses.

hi i wanted to install a Intel 4965AGN wireless card in my hp 6735s so i could run it at 5ghz wireless n, but when i installed the card i got the usual error 104 unsupported wireless device. when i asked hp why they are putting bios restrictions on their laptops they acted dumb and gave me a list of a whole 2 supported broadcom cards.
after looking around various forums the whitelist is a real problem for hp/compaq owners who want to upgrade their wireless device, after a while i stumbled on a whole load of working whitelist removed bios updates for a lot of models and when i installed the bios for my 6735s it worked perfectly and my intel 4965 is working great. here is the link to the whitelist removed bios updates: http://forums.mydigitallife.info/threads...post333358:

I have a HP ZD7020US, I have updated the BIOS to the latest version (F.34) from Hp's website. Since I have done this my Broadcom 54g MaxPerformance 802.11g card does not work! I get the 104 error! Is there a version of the F.34 BIOS that has the WHITELIST REMOVED? Or better yet, is there a BIOS that is better?
