HP MCP61PM-HM (Nettle2) 5.27 With Unlocked Overclocking Options

I think it is not fully OC-enabled but it should work for the -AM and the -GM boards...
And it is brought you in association with splash- and EPA-logo...
For the -HM's and hopefully the -SM's it is coming soon!

which bios did you end up basing it off of? the biostar?

From what Tango got to tell me, it uses some code from the biostar, with Abit and ECS> Its basically a hombrew of three bioses.

UPDATE:

Tango, also I have a way newer microcode file I have included in the HM release if you want me to add it to the other as well.

Another Update: argh! This is one annoying thing. because we compressed using awdbedit CBROm cant add and remove modules without breaking it. I tried both tools, both can't seem to manipulate the image in anyway. Can you post what tool version you are on, because I can't add anything.

still doing testing.

im thinking we should try and make the "final final" version be able to recognize dilithium crystals as a power source Tongue

In that case we should also give the molecular compressor module a try to create real mini ITX mainboards. I just wait the decompressor module get to work for sure... Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

Now for real we're building homebrews out of retails trying to fit all the mainboard abilities and the user requirements. Just for the moment I got a mail from CHEEPOMAN (yes, he is still alive") and he send me a AMI-BIOS to test. I will give it a try when I finished my Award-BIOS-building...

@wiz
I used this awdbedit
.zip   awdbedit_v10_rc1_b.zip (Size: 333.36 KB / Downloads: 19) to replace the original files of the Biosstar-BIOS and to extract all the modules. I can send you the modules I used but it would be a sh... to do it here wouldn't it? By the way, you can extract the modules yourself with the awdbedit version and reintegrate with cbrom if you want to give it a try... I told you it was not working right for me...

CHEEPOMAN is the former guru from ocworkbench and made a great BIOS for the ECS K7S5A and its derivates...

Hey Tango,

Can you check out the most recent BIOS you posted. I have tried MODBIN, CBROM, awdbedit final and the one you posted, and they all refuse to open the file. It easily lets me extract ACPITBL.BIN out of the HP bios, but opening your BIN instantly throws errors and crashes.

yes, it is broken... Sad Don't know where or when it broke... I will check it later @ home.
Who has the awdbedit-patch 1.25 from apple_rom working for awd V. 6? bpoint is not so active or friendly @ sourceforge!

Yeah, I got this, but it does not want, I repeat: does not want! to work with awd V6... Sad
I send all of you my modules as a zip based on the BioStar-. The included ACPITBL is not working right for -HM (vent-issue) and the AGESACPU is slightly modified to shorten the processor-strings to be able to see your EPA-logo without texet in front. Also the logos are modified to the ones I already posted. Though I added some extra modules to support the MCP61SM-AM and the MCP61VM too but this is just early alpha stuff because I cannot test it. Maybe Wiz can built the two required images to support the sort of the MCP61-AM2/+ we are using here... Big Grin
I'm just @ work and use few of my free time to write and post here. I found an other MCP61-board, in my work-PC! ASROCK K8NF6P-VSTA but with socket 754 Big Grin
