Overclock with Ntune System Tools to find more settings http://www.nvidia.com/object/nvidia_syst..._6.06.html

TESTED CPU's

AMD AM2+ Phenom x4 9150e 1.8GHz 65w
AMD AM3 Athlon II 245 2.9GHz 65w -OVERCLOCKED with Nvidia System Tools to 3.4GHz
AMD AM3 Phenom II x4 3.4GHz C3 125w BLACK EDITION Passed Prime95

CAUTION: IF using a (CPU) Processor higher than 95w you will need to UPGRADE to an AFTERMARKET Heatsink. The one that came stock with the HP/COMPAQ computer is not good enough for a high wattage processor

Note: Installing AMD BE BLACK EDITION Processors CPU will UNLOCK EXTRA OVERCLOCKING FEATURES in the BIOS

Do we get any instructions on how to flash the BIOS using this?

Thanks,
Jim

It would be the same instructions for the ABIT flash using kev's posted BIOS.

Don´t understand - it is award bios and how can I flash it with *.ROM ?

The extension name is irrelevant to the flash, it could be names bios.mybios and it would flash. It is always recommended though you simply rename the bios to "bios.bin" to keep things straight.

Thank you. And just another thing - my HP MCP61PM-HM (Nettle3) is rev. 2.1 not 2.2 - is it relevant? My system is W7 64 and bios was recently flashed with official 5.29 from HP site. Is it OK to use this mod now?

Edit:
I tried it and I got this error message: The program file´s part number does not match with your system

Hey drfr,

I know that the BIOS was confirmed working on the 2.2, meaning I believe you should have no issue on 2.1 but I cannot be positive because I have no testing results for the 2.1
To avoid the part's number error, add /f to the commandline posted in the instructions. If anything goes awry I will offer a free BIOS chip reprogram if something fails. (Read our reprogramming service page for more info)

Thank you,

Still hesitating if it´s worth the risk for me. Don´t you have by any chance some possibility to find information about 2.1 anywhere else? I tried to look with no success, but you certainly have more knowledge and experience. Thank you.
Btw, the picture at the first page of this thread shows rev. 2.1 - I know it is probably only a chance but are you sure the tests were done only on 2.2?
Anybody else?

The moderator who did this only had 2.2 There are minor differences and it really shouldn't be an issue. The only difference in rev is minor bug fixes to the board itself, but its still all the same specs. If you do have issues though, we will re-program your chip for free because you tested. IMHO it should work fine, but I don't have any test results to confirm. I believe someone has PMed me about testing, he may post his results soon too.
