Help with 2MB Insyde whitelist removal

I have followed hspumanti's general method to remove whitelist from Insyde BIOS, attempting to use an Intel 6300 wireless card in my hp g6-1d46dx laptop. I have a few questions: First, InsydeFlash tells me that "the bios is corrupted or does not contain the correct digital signature" when I try to flash, and second, although the guide seemed to work, my BIOS is 2MB. My bios can be downloaded here. The log of my various attempts with InsydeFlash is here(my username is replaced with dots). Although my computer has the HP_TOOLS partition, several of the attempts were made with the HPBiosUpdate.sig file removed. Does anyone know what to do now?
