Hp 2000 2d19wm wireless adapter whitelist sp65847.exe
#1
Hey guys, i would first like to say this is a pretty cool website...
I would like to upgrade my half mini pcie wireless adapter, Atheros AR5B125 a hunk of junk lol. It doesnt cut it anymore with out the newer ac frequency.

- Manufacturer: HP
- Model:  2000 2d19wm
- WLAN: Atheros AR5B125
- Bios revision: F.30
- Bios Type: UEFI
- Bios Download Link:
Made by Hp System Bios Update Utility, couldn't find the download file for the exe
 https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0BwY7P-dascQmdmEwcmxEMGZXelE&usp=sharing

Made by the Universal Bios Backup
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BwY7P-d...sp=sharing

and then the newer Bios version F.45
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp65501-66000/sp65847.exe

I really hope that someone will be able to get rid of this stupid white list bs. and i know asking for two things at once is against policy, but the new card that i get will more than likely have Bluetooth in it, and well it is wireless and while you are in the same area, lol probably not. If needed i will make a different thread elsewhere in the appropriate location.
Yes i am aware of the risks of installing a new bios and i am willing to take the risk, i do have a back up also.

Do you think the covering pin 20 on the wireless card trick would work?
