Mainboard Model PT890-8237A - Version PBSFC2MB.P08
#1
hi, i'm having this issue that i can't fit a new gfx card to my mobo, the bios doesn't seem to be available from packard bell anymore, and it does appear to have been modded already.

I was hoping someone still had the unmodded bios as the post about the modded one doesn't seem to indicate if the mod worked properly or not and i have no need for changing clock speed etc

i have also discovered that the acpi may be disabled in this bios, is there anyway to mod the bios so it can be switched on, or configured, sorry i don't know what acpi is, i think it's something to do with power settings and seems to be the root of my problem

Thanks
Tank

i did read somewhere that the when modded the power options caused some issues, and that they were removed.

i'll try out the one you've posted, thanks by the way, is there anything you can do if it doesn't control the power options?

addtional:

ok so i'm fairly confident i can modify the bios myself now, does anyone have the oringal unmodded bios for this please?
