#31
Excuse me
My notebook is vgn-tz17gn and the bios should be r0052n7
So I followed your tutorial and modified the bios(I think I did)
However, I cannot see the option of ahci
Actually I would like to do the storage configuration as I want to upgrade the storage to ssd, so I want to see the menu for it in bios

Hi, I ask for help, I would like to update Sony Vaio VGN-NR11M / S PCG-7Z2M notebook bios.
Factory original bios RO130J9 -18/07/2007.
Searching on google I found: bios RO131J9 25-01-2008, bios R0200E5 -13-11-2012, bios R0190E5-05-11-2012.
Which bios can I install for my VGN-NR11M / S notebook?
Sorry for my english, I use google translator.
Thanks for any help.

I modded this bios to reveal ahci capabilities however if you set it in bios it gets restored to default (sata in ide emulation mode), the chipset is capable of sata II and ahci, but this way it's dumbed down to sata I speeds. Can you check with your nvram method? https://www.dropbox.com/s/btbdc6pxyhcez0...00-667.ROM
