(PSI ANALYSIS )Request to unlock features on Acer Aspire 7741
#1
First, let me say thank you very much for your hard work on this site!

I was wondering if you would be able to unlock the Phoenix v1.26 BIOS for my laptop (Acer Aspire 7741-6445). Manufacturer link: http://tinyurl.com/72b63rw (us.acer.com). I'm mainly looking to get access to the ACPI settings, but anything else you can manage would be greatly appreciated.

Here is my CPU-Z info, if you need any more information, please let me know:

Thanks in advance!

This will take some time as the bios can`t be opened by the simulation tool so that i can`t see the hidden features and what is shown or hidden .
i have to do it the hard way Smile i will let you knew when its ready .
Thank you ,
Ahmed

Hi,

I used a i7 720qm on my 7741g before this bios unlock and it worked just fine, after the bios flash it works, but turbo boost is lost even AIDA and such programs show it is activated and the bios option is also activated.

Also reverting to original bios got me lo luck in fixing it.

If you have any ideas i would be grateful, thanks.
