Question about Capacitors/system slow down
#1
I downloaded the bios here and flashed them without any problems. Then screwed around with minor overclocking and got as far as my processor would go, I don't have a black edition so I couldn't change the cpu multiplier. Anyway, I set everything back to default and realized my games run slower then before. Windows rated my processor and ram significantly lower then before all this.

My question is, could this just be an issue with a capacitor? Being that both my ram and processor slowed down.

Thanks in advance.

And my system

Athlon x2 5000+
6 gigs ram
Gigabyte 4670 1gb
on windows 7 64 bit

The capacitator is possible becuse I found it weird you were getting lower FPS. I would try clearing the red-pin on the motherboard to see if it helps. I've had the system on its knees before and resetting that jumper worked in the past.
