I need to unlock the Advanced tab and, if it is possible, disable the ATI Radeon Mobility HD 4550 video card. Sometimes, at the Windows 10, this HW causes O.S. crashes, because it's an incompatible HW.

Greetings. I would like to get the advanced menu features on my laptop. It is an hp envy 17-u275cl

Does editing the platform.ini stll apply to my model to get the dump and is there any particular place I should add this section?

Ah, hello again. It looks like adding that to the platform.ini did not dump it but the good news is, the flashing process creates an HP directory on the EFI partition and dumps it there.

couple of newbie questions:

1. Does this work only on uefi or also with legacy bios?

2. I have two bios files from Acer - normal and uefi, downloaded both and used the Phoenixtool (they both seems to be non encrypted at least i could extract the DUMPS). Using the perl script (with some errors) I got the logs (for both bios files) but can't seem to find the option I'm looking for (resume on power loss).

What can I do more ?
