Hi,

I have installed windows 7 64 bits and i want to flash your custom working bios . Is there a way to force a reflash since i already have the original 1.19 bios installed ? When i try to flash using your software it tells me that they are the same .
Thank you .
Managed to force reflashh but it doesn't work . In win it is seen as a pci simple communication controller . Any hints ?

thx

Well the pci simple communication controller seemed to me intel amt .
Now i don't see no new devices in device manager. The drivers are installed .
In order for me to force a bios flash i did the following :
- installed your packages
- when it was executed automatically it said that there is no need to flash since it is not newer
- i executed cmd and moved to the folder : c:\drivers\flash and executed : winuptp.exe /s and it was flashed .

Did i did correctly ?

Yes, and as long as the notebook does not complain about unsupported wlan card on boot it should work.

The laptop doesn't complain about the new hardware with your custom bios but it wasn't complaining either with the original bios Smile .
I have a question : i see that there are 2 custom bios in your download folder :
- 100%_Lenovo_X220_8duj09us_NoWhiteList_By_Camiloml.exe
- 100%_TP_x220_8duj07us_No_Whitelist_By_Camiloml.exe

I have used : 100%_Lenovo_X220_8duj09us_NoWhiteList_By_Camiloml.exe . Is that ok ?

It really bothers me that it doesn't work .
One more thing i have noticed : when the laptop powers up, if i hit the F12 key ( boot device chooser ) there i can see the device as CD AirCard Tru Install ( it is listed as boot device along with the hdd and the dvd ) .

Thank you again for your help .

I guess both are for same machine but are different versions of the bios. Use the one you prefer. Wink

Hello,

There is a new bios 1.21 for the Thinkpad X220 which apparently solves the CPU throttling. Could anyone please be kind and remove the whitelist from the bios?
I and many more users will very grateful.
