you can turn off in fn + f5, but for viewing only because the radio still works. Pin 20 receives signal to turn off radio but it's tapped. Before tap pin 20 my wwan module's radio is not table, but very stable (because it cannot off :-) ) after pin 20 is tapped, also effect not much to battery life so no problem for me.

That what I truly wanted to ask about. Battery life. I hope it wont affect it much
Wonder how much battery time Ill loose after this mod ;/

So its better than mine(6cell 29+). If you wanna check how much power this wwan card take when is taped just disable wireless wan in bios and see. When my modem is disabled power manager shows me 2h more than when enabled. Even physical radio button on the left of thinkpad cannot switch off this modem :/

Hello everybody!

Once again I need help with whitelist removal from new bios for my Thinkpad x220. So far Lenovo recently put out new bios on their site 1.19 and finally solved few very annoying power issues. Could anybody be so kind and remove whitelist from this bios? If not at least gimme a link to tutorial how to remove it Smile

Kind regards

bios link: http://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc/...uj09us.exe

To decompose I use Andys Phoenix tools but I dont know what to do after that ;/
