{REQ} DFI LP DK 790FXB-M2RSH BIOS unlocking
#21
do you want to run an inspection against another DFI bios which does have Phenom II X6 support?

LANPARTY DK 790FXB-M3H5
D7SD707.zip

Major Reasons of Change:
Add new micro code for support AMD Phenom II X6 1035T/1055T/1095T.

....

i have purchased an SPI bios programmer and it should be here at the end of next week. my cpu has already come so i will update in this thread once i start testing.

the differentiation:

M3H5 - AM3, DDR3
M2RSH - AM2+, DDR2

were you able to download the bios from the AM3 version of the motherboard?

Well with your SPI programmer we will be able to test several images. Give me a chance to try and figure out compatibility stuff.

my programmer should be here by friday, so i will have a recovery option.

any luck with looking at the am3 version of the bios and porting to this bios?

thx.

Still looking at it, but if you are able to recover might as well run the first mod first for the heck of it.
