P.S. I don't know how You can flash this one, try to prepare the USB by Program AMI !

Eventually We can try to use FPT if your laptop has na Intel CPU !

You can use AMIBcp 4.55 to unlock features !

Hi

I also have this computer with this bios version Wink

thanks a lot for your work Smile

I just tried to flash the image using fptw (the windows version) and it shows a message "PDR Region does not exist." in yellow.
What does this mean ?

I also have errors "Error 7: Hardware sequencing failed. Make sure that you have access to target flash area!" avoiding flash to complete, but I think this is because of the windows version of the tool.

But before testing with dos version (fpt.exe) I would like to clarify the PDR region thing Smile

I did put the backup I made using fptw.exe of the vanilla bios version 02.07 here : 0207-dump

BDMaster, would you mind having a look at the différences?

thanks !

anyway, using fptw -i shows me that there is no PDR Region on this computer Smile

I then rebooted to dos and tried to flash the bios using
fpt -f BIL_0207.bin -bios

but I now have
error 25: The host CPU does not have write access to the target flash area. To enable write access for this operation you must modify the descriptor settings to give access to this region

any advice?

did try also
fpt -d bios.rom -bios --> success
fpt -f bios.rom -bios -rewrite --> error 25: The host CPU does not have write access to the target flash area. To enable write access for this operation you must modify the descriptor settings to give access to this region
