The hidden INTEL tab and the menus under it i not found in your bios ...... may be its old bios .
No menus found for unlocking but few options :- C states , virtualization , dts calibration , memory timings .
and the AHCI is found as well .
Let me knew if you need unlocking these few options .
and i`m sorry for my late reply but im very busy in my study and exams .
Thank you,
Ahmed

Thank you very much. The laptop is about 5 years old and has seen better days, so it probably wouldn't be worth the effort. And I completely understand being busy with school and exams!

I know this thread is 7 months old, but I was wondering if you could explain how to enable AHCI for this BIOS. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much for your help with this. I installed a SSD and want to get the most speed from it as possible. I also had another random thought/question: This laptop only supports cpus with a 533MHz FSB, though the chipset is made to handle both 533 and 667 (and perhaps 800, though not sure). Is this a BIOS setting, or something else?

Hello bcstd,

I have actually upgraded my notebook's CPU from a 1.73GHz Intel T2250 to a 2.33GHz Intel T2700. The result was amazing! The FSB for the entire system went from 533MHz to 667MHz! This sped up the [integrated] graphics system, the chipset, the RAM, the CPU, etc. The upgrade was a total success! If you are sure that your motherboard supports the CPU and that your chipset supports the higher FSB, then try the upgrade.

Like Ahmed Hossam said a few years ago, your BIOS does lack an Intel Menu, but it is certainly NOT devoid of useful options that can be added. I will work on modding your BIOS later on.

You also seemed to have an interest in modding the BIOS yourself as well. I can help you out with learning how to mod Phoenix BIOS's.

Also, please feel free to PM me if I have not replied again about your BIOS mod request after 5 days.
