What's happening when you're trying to boot E7600 on 775i65G R3.0 and 775i65G R2.0?
Do use external graphics card? What a type of the memory you use?
I need requested screenshots.

I have not yet tried booting with the cpu, I'm afraid of ruining them. I have 2 gb ram 2.5 cl. The video card is a Radeon 9250. I can not take pictures, do not want to use the cpu without suitable bios.

Latest version of native BIOS already have suitable microcode for E7600.
Note: FSB1066-CPU is supported by overclocking only when you adopt an external VGA card and DDR400 CL2.5 memory modules.

I am also interested in a mod for this board. My board is specifically the 775i65g R3.0. I am using BIOS version 1.0, which is the only available BIOS on the AsRock website.

I can confirm that booting with E7300 works (as it should- this is specifically on the CPU support) but E7600 does not.

Normally, during boot, this board with E7300 will actually reinitialize devices twice before actually starting (so 3 initializations total.) I can assume this based on the LED flashing on the CD drive that is connected to the secondary IDE. This also happened when using E6700 and X6800, which are also 1066 MHZ FSB. Other users report the same behavior with their own 1066 MHZ FSB processors. Doesn't really cause a problem, but it is interesting to note.

With E7600, everything powers up, but nothing further happens. Does not POST or beep. I am using a GeForce FX 5700 as the GPU. I have not tested connecting to the onboard video.

The RAM in the machine is DDR400, 2x512MB CL2 as recommended by the manufacturer when using a 1066MHZ FSB processor.

These boards are particularly interesting because of the strange mixture of Intel 865 chipset with support for Socket 775 Core 2. I've found it ideal for retro gaming while maintaining hardware compatibility with certain PCI devices.

Try disable VT-x.
Also you can try BSEL Mod (e.g. Intel LGA775 Pad Modding) to change FSB to 800 Mhz and then overclock it to 1066 Mhz.

And you can test my BIOS mod.

Thank you for your time! I'll try this tonight when I return home. What did you change in your mod?
