my laptop is ASUS ROG G701VIK  with bios version : 305
i'm trying many times to modded but nothing every time fail, please anyone can help me
i wanna disable SATA mode and change to AHCI mode to install linux on my laptop

I just wanna to disable SATA Controller to can install Linux

- My lapto hanging with AFUWIN64

I have the same problem. This is my third ASUS laptop and I have been able to install Linux on all of them but I am stuck on this one. It looks like it must be possible, since someone unlocked the G701VI, but that bios doesn't work for me

Yah, you are right. I'm already modded my bios but not able to flash it coz it's write protected, many times and many programs but still nothing.

I hope to be able to contact ASUS technical services or who was unlocked G701VI but he still not answer.
