No, it's OK, unlock would be same for 304 vs 307.  I only mentioned in case you didn't know there was a new BIOS and wanted to use that one instead.  I'll mod your 304 dump for you.

el_billy, "Me Too" is OK here, only way to do this mod really, unless someone confirms safe method to flash mod BIOS using AFU (ie which version, which method, will safely and reliably flash mod BIOS for this model) This is probably possible, and well know by other BIOS modders which works, but I dislike AFU so I don't keep track of which works for what mod BIOS type etc.

This mod involves edits outside AMIBCP + AMIBCP edits too, if you want AMIBCP google 5.02.0023 or 5.02.0031 and you should find, if not send me a PM

Hi Lost_N_BIOS. I currently use v304 BIOS you modded for me for nearly 3 months. I use it to undervolt CPU and increase the throttle temperature point. It works well. I flashed the modded BIOS with FPTw64.exe command under Windows as you said. But now I want to upgrade my BIOS to the latest version available -v307-. I don't know how to upgrade BIOS now. Should I upgrade via USB Storage device in BIOS or use flash tool that you suggest? If I have to upgrade via flash tool which command should I enter. Thanks for your help. By the way could you unlock new 307 version BIOS too? If ok I can post my .bin file here after upgrade Thanks for your help. Regards.

First, upgrade to stock BIOS using stock asus method (Ez flash) Then dump the BIOS with FPT and send me your new 307 dump, I will unlock it for you. Then you'll have to do the BIOS Lock grub unlock again first, then you can reflash mod BIOS again.

Hi Lost_N_BIOS. I did the things you wrote last message. I download the v307 BIOS file from Asus website and write it to FAT32 formatted USB flash. Then restart the computer and select the file to upgrade within BIOS itself. At the beginning of the upgrade process Notebook suddenly shut down. It does not open, no output, black screen I think I did somethng wrong
Now waiting CH341A programmer to rewrite BIOS chip.
My question is can I use the biosreg.bin file that I sent to you to unlock features? Is it a full BIOS recovery of my PC or should I use another file to program my BIOS chip. Thanks for help.

That isn't cool! It happens though, maybe nothing you did. You extracted the BIOS from zip correct? I assume so, or it would give you some error.
Hope you also ordered SOIC8 test clip w/ cable, correct?

BIOSreg.bin is only BIOS region, you can't write this to chip it's incomplete BIOS. Don't worry though, all will be fixed in no time one you get programmer setup and learn how all that works, which software best for your chip etc.

We'll get you back on unlocked 304, and then again upgrade to 307, then I'll unlock that one for you
