I have same problem. Hidden advanced settings on bios.
Acer aspire 5749z. Cpu i7 2620m mobo socket h65 rpga988b 8gb ram. Original cpu was pentium b960, recently swaped for better cpu. Altgouht version in bios is 1.08 which shows made in 2011 year. But i see in acer homepage, the same version but newer year 2012.
