Try this. It's based on 1.07 (had it already on my disk from a vbios mod).

^^ ps be sure it's the right bios file you download this may not work with you laptop
and if you doing something wrong with the bios you may need to send you computer to
the store where you buy it so they can make it, because you can "destroy" you computer that way

Also looking for the 2.15, although I have an Acer E1-571. According to WinMerge they are identical for both model ranges (E1, V3, perhaps more). Success with this 2.15 would therefore enable quite a number of users to unlock their BIOS. It did look like one member here may have had luck with 2.15 (sometin1) but he's since disappeared.

Hello, There I made a worst mistake I upgraded to MOD bios for Acer Aspire V3-571G 1.13v to 2.09v Modded and now I am unable to switch to my Nvidia Graphics 640m please can you help downgrade
I tried to modify Platform.ini and have tried recovery method nothing worked
the recovery method ends with 3 beeps and the bios remains same.

Anyway we can get rid of error" update to 2.x " and or " not supported this version of flash common interface! "

just to add my system is Windows 7 based so it doesn't ve that EFI thing and I really don't want it. Don't know why I did it.

Any helps in recovering the BIOS from 2.xx to 1.xx ? I'm really tired because of the UEFI BIOS screwed out the NVIDIA GPU too much ... Can't play any video games whatsoever
