It has nothing to do with external graphics, i dont even have the nvidia driver installed yet - its not enabled. And the laptop cannot run with intel graphics disabled - it uses "optimus" setting where even nvidia render passes through intel graphics output.

As far as i read the forums - the issue is laptop specific when manufacturer sets low PWM setting for backlight and it affects all laptops in series.

I suppose intel driver is only utilising some bios setting for the backlight frequency in each brightness case.. The question is how to change/override it.. I have 3 similar laptops like this and all of them are affected..

As per my experience with these laptops - it is not possible to override the setting of 135 mhz.

It seems nvidia drivers manage the clocks not taking into consideration any settings. So far as i know it manages the clock depending on the load/power saving settings, so to overclock it we will have to override all default clocks in all modes.. There was some topic on the forum about it. I will try to find it

Sorry to hijack but I'm looking for the exact same bios and not having much luck finding it. I've had a play with the files Savior provided and HxD but I'm not really too sure what I'm doing either. Would it be possible for someone more knowledgable about such things than I am to upload the bios?

Hello . I need advice . I am desperate. I need to unlock the bios on the laptop Acer V3 772 g cpu 4200 GPU GTX 760 meters . I need to unlock the settings for ram . I installed extra 8 GB RAM . In windows me it shows that 16 gigabytes installed but it is useful only 8Gb . I need to unlock the GPU to be able to overclock it over 135mhz . Would it be possible? Here in the forum I found bios for this notebook . But it was in version exe applications . That I will not install because it is the same version as souřasný bios. I apologize for my amateurism . Then I would like to ask if anyone has the same laptop as my screen blinks at him with less brightness. Does anyone have advice on how to remove this? Thank you for your advice .
