even when i tried to manually flash the ROM with FlashIT tool it failed with this error:
Error:Not support AT-p information CL Registry:0x2

You might be able to enable "SVM Support" using this method (needs to be adapted): http://www.geektech.co.nz/how-to-unlock-...enovo-y700
This method requires Windows as a system as the necessary tool is only available for Windows.

First, you will need the tool: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4NHIBM...RtQXM/view
Extract the archive and go to the folder with the extracted files.
Then, you need to open an administrative command prompt in that folder (google it if you don't know how).
Execute the command from step 1 of the linked guide in that command prompt (H2OUVE.exe -gv vars.txt).
After that, you'll have the file "vars.txt" in that folder.
You need to upload this file, so that I can make the change.

Here's your modded vars-file with AMD-V enabled:  http://www99.zippyshare.com/v/2989rrQK/file.html
You need to put the vars_mod_Dagey.txt  file in the folder with the H2OUVE.exe file and execute the following command in an administrative command prompt in that folder:
 H2OUVE.exe -sv  vars_mod_Dagey.txt
 H2OUVE will update the NVRAM area of the BIOS and after a reboot the new setting should be active.
 This will only enable AMD-V and not mess with any of the other settings of your BIOS.
 In case you want to revert to default, you can go back to default with the following command:
 H2OUVE.exe -sv  vars.txt
 Using the reset to defaults option in the BIOS would work, too.

Hi guys, how are you?

I've recently discovered these advanced options within the bios and I'd like to get mine unlocked too. This is my dumped bios: https://mega.nz/file/NlsC1QjS#_BvqmauPyI...1T7Qtq2NgA (it created me 2 files; one with the name I set and the other one with that name and "_new" at the end).

@feluchi this is my dumped vars file: https://mega.nz/file/FoUCTbQK#qm70KVu1SA...3S7RKHzVho What I'd like to do is basically speed up the laptop by enabling the AMD-V for both the CPU and the RAM, and being able to use the real MHZ of my RAM card I have (it's 1600 but can use only 800 X_X). I'd also like to unlock the advanced features within the bios too if that's possible. If not, the AMD-V will be enough.

PS: BTW I formated my laptop after getting my vars file, not sure if that's gonna affect in something, I guess not.
