[REQUEST] Asus FX504GE BIOS Unlock

On this dump bios , option Security Device Support=Enable and TPM Device Selection=PTT by default ,so if you still can't activate TPM ,it mean that this laptop doesn't support tpm. Although 8750h has support firmware tpm ,but one of bios or motherboard doesn't support.

Thanks, but I know fx504ge has TPM2.0 cause I've seen other people have it. I've also see TPM Device Selection in bios when

using amibcp to open bios firmware, but I just can't find it while entering the bios settings when you just start the computer

Hi~ i explain it again.
If this machine *.support TPM features , as long as you set Security Device Support=Enable and TPM Device Selection=PTT in the bios then you can activate TPM features ,but on your dump ,bios settings were the same with above i mentioned ,but the TPM feature is still deactive ,so i determine this machine doesn't support TPM features.

*. If your machine is not used discrete tpm ,you need to meet below conditions then you just can activate TPM features.
1. Processor have to support firmware tpm.
2.Bios and motherboard design have to support.

Greetings and salutations genius239,

I've read from the user cepsbow that you've actually made the mod, and that he also received it.
I humbly ask you: Could you please send it to me too? It's for the exact same model as mine.

From what I've heard the new bios versions for this model do have lots of issues with overheating and driver issues on linux even on a live boot.

I'd also like a downgrade to the lowest version if possible.

And here's the info from dmidecode:

Code:
Code:
dmidecode 3.2

Getting SMBIOS data from sysfs.

SMBIOS 3.1.1 present.

Table at 0x7A986000.
