Trying to fix a bricked Dell 3521... Does anyone have the .hdr and .rom files? I'm not sure how to extract them from the bios. Thanks

So I have a Dell Inspiron 3521 with the A12 version of the InsydeH20 Bios, I downsloaded this file and despite being named "generalized" there's a read me file in which it says the mod is only for "this pc", I assume it was modified accordingly to the info detailed in the bios dump of that user, can anyone modify it for me or tell me what do I need to do in order to make it work with my pc?

Hi. I tried to use eGPU on my laptop for second desktop monitor purposes but to no avail. It doesn't get detected on Device Manager. I guess unlocking the BIOS might help.

* Windows 10 Pro 20H2
* 12GB DDR3 RAM (4GB Hynix + 8GB Kingston)
* 128GB SSD w/ 500GB HDD for data
* Intel Core i5 3rd Gen 3337U
* Intel HD Graphics 4000 w/ AMD Radeon HD 8730M as discrete GPU
* Nvidia/Sapphire GeForce 8800GT eGPU (Windows didn't detect it)
* Realtek NIC & HD Audio
* A12 Dell BIOS (Downgraded from A16)

I have dumped my A12 BIOS using NEW_BACKUP_FPTs program

I don't want my eGPU investment to be such a waste & I'm willing to donate some money to those who helped me getting my eGPU recognised.

This is my first time modding my BIOS so detailed instructions is needed. Thank you.

Hello I have a dell inspiron 3521 Laptop not dell inspiron 15 3521 but dell inspiron 3521
I would like a bios advanced menu unlock because my Dgpu amd radeon hd 7670M probably has something to do with the bios
It would be really appreciated if someone modded my bios
Im not new in bios but im a bit new in bios modifying i already made my own modded bios but the dump file is bigger than the chip itself
thats why im asking for someone to help me modify it

I think both of them use the same Bios
but i use a dell inspiron 3521 not a dell inspiron 15 3521
