I would like to have a modded BIOS, where i can use the HP UN2420 WWAN card. I'm getting the 703 error, after googling the subject for some time i have understood that HP "blocks" the card from being used in the 8560w.
So i would be really glad if someone could help me with creating a "whitelisted BIOS"(?). Or create one for me.

Hi Camiloml,

I have recently recieved my 8560w and when i transfered my Gobi wwan card i recieved the same 703 bios error. I looked to try find the windows rom but am unable to locate it in the repository, could you please let me know which one is the correct one to test? I see there are later bios revisions available now but would be happy to go to the earlier one if i could get the WWAN to work.

Kind Regards
Robert

Hi all,

I'd like to have BIOS WLAN whitelist for HP Elitebook 8560w removed so I can use stock Intel 7260AC WiFi with it.

BIOS v F50A:

Thanks a lot in advance,
- Peter
