I tried the whitelist removed version from camilo for SP54846 on this site but it didnt work.

Even tried removed the CMOS battery..no use.

Could you do bios recovery?

Try this one, let's see if it can be flashed and if it works for you.

I tried it...same result...i think its an issue with the BIOS flashing incorrectly...these are the steps I followed

Opened zip file
BIOS flash happens in windows entire and computer restarts normally
shutdown the computer and I replaced the old Wifi 1030 with the new wifi 6230
turned on the computer and got blank screen with flashing cursor only
shutdown the computer and removed the CMOS battery and then replaced it
started the computer and got blank screen

Then I shutdown the computer, removed the new wifi 6230 card, removed cmos battery and replaced it
Installed the old wifi 1030 card
restarted the computer..it gave the CMOS warning and resetted CMOS
The computer then auto rebooted normally

there was no need to use BIOS recovery so i really think the modded BIOS is not flashing correctly

I was reading through one of the other threads here and came across something. My old wifi 1030 and the new wifi 6230 have Bluetooth on them as part of a combo device. So its possible the bluetooth whitelist is causing the issues.

Hmmmm don't think so an error should pop not just hang and corrupt cmos

hey so HP released an updated bios ..its SP56663.exe

I am also looking for the sp56663.exe to be whitelist removed. I have a dv7-6c27cl that I need to replace the wifi with an OSx86 compatible card for my hackintosh.
