Hi Pal
Replaced Diagnostics and Security with Advanced and Power.
Try at your own risk! I just began with bios modding!
Have you already read how to recover your original bios if something goes wrong?
http://donovan6000.blogspot.co.at/2013/0...overy.html

Give a look here too !

Regards
Do any of you know of a good guide on flashing the BIOS. I'll try it out with HP DV6_DV7_INTEL_sp50586_363C_3658_F1D_SLIC_NWL_ADV.rar files. I also have a thumb drive setup incase it bricks. Will I have to put any of the contents from that file onto a USB as well?? I just dont see whats to be done with all the files, is it installed via windows or through DOS... The only thing I can find on it seems to be a BIOS Recovery. Sorry if this seems obvious, I'm just trying to be cautious since school starts next week and I cannot be without a pc :/

I will prepare both, but You have to use you Model Platform, so use AIDA64

And use yours files !

Here your files :

1. 363C http://rghost.net/57616246

I'd tried "HP DV6_DV7_INTEL_sp50586_363C_3658_F1D_SLIC_NWL_ADV", it's flashed OK, but OS won't load anymore (BIOS not full ACPI supported error). Laptop restored from saved dumps with programmer.

I've already flashed these BIOS mods (http://goo.gl/jDBd5n, http://goo.gl/MPsqsQ), but as I wrote to you, Win 7 won't load with blue screen error "the bios in this system is not fully acpi compliant".  Tried to install different OS'es (Win XP, Win 7) but this error occurs every time. So I asking about other modded BIOS (not for HP-Pavilion-dv7-3155ef).

It's possible to combine two modded BIOS'es in one mod w/o whitelist and with advanced menu options from Camiloml's BIOS repository?
