I also have the DV7-6b32US but my BIOS is F.1C, the InsydeFLASH program also says 17FC version F.99T99 and it is dated January 29, 2013. I have tried using your BIOS with v2 in the name but I still get the error message that the replacement BIOS is older than the one currently installed. Do you have a newer version or is there a way to force the installation of SP54846 over the existing SP60655. Many thanks.

Hi friends,
this is a gift from Donovan6k Bios Mod F.19 RSA Hack sp57474 :

Don't care bout error at Bios Boot It will continue and working !!!
let  me know
Regards

I installed your BIOS from within Windows using the InsydeFLASH program. Install worked perfectly. On re-boot I did get the red letter warning message that the BIOS write did not successfully complete. Windows started normally. On a subsequent re-boot there was no error message. Now I have to get a new WiFi card and try it out. Thanks very much for your quick and valued help. Larry S.

Today Fri 12/5 I received my Intel AC7260HWM wifi card and installed it. On power up I got the dreaded error 702 WLAN card not supported. Thus, the new Bios is not removing the whitelist. Unless of course I did something wrong. For example I did not unplug the motherboard battery. Please help.

I think the only noticeable modification I made to that sp57474 bios was changing the name of the "Main" formset to "Nain", and that was just to verify that both the PEI and DXE could be modified. It's the world's first modded RSA bios and it hasn't been through much testing, so be careful when using it. I wasn't expecting it to be publicly released... Confused

And congratulations to BDMaster on becoming a super moderator Cool

Also congrats to BDMaster. Now, can either you or BDMaster create a BIOS that will both install and remove the whitelist. Please! My new 7260 awaits. Many many thanks, and yes I can make a contribution. Larry S.

I tried installing the Donovan BIOS again. The installer says it is installing F.19. During the install a message says "recovering BIOS." The red error message, that I think I'm supposed to ignore, says error occurred during install, not completely installed" or something like that, it doesn't stay on the screen long enough for me to read. After windows started, I shut down the computer to go to BIOS setup. The setup says that the BIOS is still F.1c. So perhaps the new BIOS is not installing. Larry S
