Hello BDMaster,

can you help me to add my new WIFI-card to the BIOS whitelist?

My laptop is a Flex 2-14 with i5-4210U CPU and BIOS-Version A0CN31WW
My old WiFi-adapter is the Realtek RTL8723BE and the new one is the Intel 7260NGW

You can find the results.rar under: https://www.sendspace.com/file/hjc0n4

and the ROM-Backup under: https://www.sendspace.com/file/jtmc2c

And here are the Hardware-ID's:
For the old adapter:
PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_B723&SUBSYS_B73617AA&REV_00
PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_B723&SUBSYS_B73617AA
PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_B273&CC_028000
PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_B273&CC_0280

For the new adapter:
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_08B1&SUBSYS_C0708086&REV_6B
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_08B1&SUBSYS_C0708086
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_08B1&CC_028000
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_08B1&CC_0280

With best regards

Thanks in advance!

BIOS mod can be done but requires an external SPI Programmer to flash the chip.

Which requires opening the laptop

Do you still wish me to remove the whitelist?

Hi, is there any Chance to get a patched BIOS-Image for my new wifi-adapter? I will spend some money if I will get a succesful solution for my whitelist-problem.
Otherwise I have to send my New wifi-adapter back to save the paid money.

Now I can use my fast Arch-Linux-OS with a stable WiFi-Connection.

Best regards from waldguru! Smile
