Okay, so I posted both files. Give me a link for the donation when you get a chance. It's Christmas time. I'm not rich, but I do not expect free work. Thanks brother. And yes..... this is the link for both my files, but I already linked the file directly. https://www.sendspace.com/filegroup/J6T6...L3TVrsm7eQ

hi, I'm new to this BIOS thing.  I inherited a great condition Lenovo Flex 2-15 laptop and I have a Intel AC 7265 wireless card I want to put in it.  I booted to the unsupported wireless network device detected error.  Reading this forum, I hit the Lenovo whitelist in the BIOS.   The current BIOS is A0CN37WW.

Lenovo BIOS link: https://download.lenovo.com/consumer/mob...cn37ww.exe
PCI ID of original wireless card: PCI\VEN_168C&DEV_0036&SUBSYS_402617AA&REV_01

I did check the forum and I can't find that this BIOS has already been modified.  Maybe I did a bad job searching.

Is there a way to fix this version BIOS to use the Intel AC 7265 wireless card?

I looked at other similar request threads - it seems I'm supposed to upload a backup BIOS somewhere. I tried Universal BIOS Backup Tool but it couldn't id the BIOS ?

thanks for the help.  Tell me what to do - I 'm good at following directions   Smile
