if possible could you update to bios version 2.8 if not thats okay

Hello, i'm new here, in fact made the account for this request because is the same model as the starting post.
I need to remove the whitelist of my old lenovo g400 (not the 's' one) recently bios-upgraded to 78cn25ww (it was 78cn16 something previously) so i can replace the wlan with an Atheros AR5B225 (the one it has is not working properly, no signal strength even standing in front of the router)
