the Bios Backup (Region only) procedure !

You have to follow the instructions into readMe file :

Update from pure DOS with USB-bootable stick
See how to make one here:
http://www.howtogeek.com/136987/how-to-c...usb-drive/

https://app.box.com/s/w8xgrhpwf2nx0kamfkc0

Copy the "Modified" folder contents into the stick and boot in DOS mode and
Run Flash.bat to update.

Don't touch Video Settings or Disable Video Card It will Brick laptop !!!

Please post results.
This mod for your PC only!!!

Flash.bat . . .

This is the contains . . .

@echo off
echo Flashing BIOS region backup.
fpt.exe -f bios.bin -bios
if errorlevel 1 goto prrr1
goto exit
:prrr1

Hello. I think my brother tried to to this bios-mod and he screwed up. I think he chenged the video settings or something like you told not to do.
Now my laptop doesn't boot. Anything on screen. What should I do? Buyng a new bios chip will solve the problem? Or I'll have to buy  a new mobo? Thank you. Hope you can help me.

Hi, i´m new in this forum, but was reading lots of threads about this bios mod. I would like to remove the whitelist from the bios of my note. Just it, i don´t want to change any other settings. Could some one help me?

I did the bios backup with the BACKUP_Tools18 for the bios version 7bcn38ww

and is this one:
.rar   results.rar (Size: 2.2 MB / Downloads: 1)

OLD WIFI Module:
PCI\VEN_168C&DEV_0032&SUBSYS_311817AA&REV_01

I dont know if the info for the new module is needed, but i will post some here:

AzureWave: AW-CB161H
Realtek Model: RTL8821AE Combo module
PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8821&SUBSYS_21611A3B&REV_00

Its a combo module, i would like to be able to use the Bluetooth too.
