Hi,

I bought a new wifi card to make my network connection work slightly faster but having the infamous "Unauthorized wireless network card is plugged in." error. I'd need a modded bios to remove the whitelist.

Motherboard Model : Lenovo G50-70 (Model Number: 20351)
Bios Version : BIOS 9ACN32WW
Old Wifi Card model: Realtek RTL8723BE
New Wifi Card Model: Realtek RTL8822CE

I want to install a Wavelink 6E AX5400 M2 in my laptop.  
When I try to modify the BIOS FD file myself I get a error message. 
FD size: 8192K
Micro Code size: 136 k
Compiler Version: (0) Undefined 
The rar has the original and a backup copy of the 9ACN32WW.BIN file

I recently got a Lenovo G50-70 and I am running Linux on it. Unfortunately, with the latest kernel updates, the original Qualcomm Atheros WLAN card has become very unstable and causes frequent issues.

I have an Intel AX210NGW WLAN card from another laptop, which would be a great upgrade. However, I discovered that this model uses a BIOS whitelist that prevents me from using non-approved wireless cards.

I was wondering if it would be possible to create a modded BIOS to remove or bypass the WLAN whitelist on my laptop.

Here are the system details:

Product Name: Lenovo G50-70
Machine Type: 80DY
CPU: Intel Core i7-4510U

BIOS Version: 9ACN30WW
EC Version: 9AEC30WW

According to Lenovo’s support website (using the serial number), the model is listed as G50-70 Laptop (Lenovo) – Type 80DY.

I have already dumped the BIOS using Universal BIOS Backup ToolKit 2.0.
