I hoped there would be a way using a usb drive since I currently dont have access to soldering iron or spi programmer.

But which software is required?

We can use USB drive with special flash utility Intel FPT but it works for Intel platforms only, not for all , because bios chips are rewrite protected in new laptops.
Only SPI Programmer can do this job in another causes!

please help me unlocking the advanced menu of my lenovo g505s bios. i have attached the latest official bios and its dump. it is an insydeh20 v3.7 bios.

Modded bioses for AMD laptops can be flashed back using SPI PGM+pomona soic8 clip only.
If you have/buy these tools so we can do this mod.

i dont have a SPI PGM, . however i was wondering if we can do this by the method suggested by donovan6000 here-

Modded bios is nothing if you cant flash it!
I have done mod for this laptop before so it is confirmed mod!
All possible to unlock if user is ready:
- to complete his request (have all necessary tools and saved bios dump)
- donate for dangerous work, you can easy get unconditional laptop.
If you disagree with these steps so you are not strongly needed this mod!
All laptops with AMD cpu can get modded bios using SPI PGM only!
Some laptops with Intel Cpu can get modded bios using special software Intel Flash Programming Tool.
All are mostly possible to unlock, but how much user is ready to pay for it?(tools and etc.)

hello . thnx for your fast reply, but i am currently posted in a remote area in himalayas for my job and hence i would not be able to purchase the programmer hardwares suggested by you.
please provide me the modded bios if you can, i would try flashing it somehow.
