hi BDMaster! i tried this method and it gives an error : Error 104: The 2 SPI flash devices do not have compatible command sets.
please help me

This error is generated on mismatch into Fparts.txt Eeprom Definitions present into modified folder, so find which ones are your Eeprom (unpack result file and look pics), normaly It happen
on Winbond :

W25Q16BV, 0xEF4015, 0x1000000, 0x1000, 0x20, 64, 0, 0xc7, 80000
W25Q32BV, 0xEF4016, 0x2000000, 0x1000, 0x20, 64, 0, 0xc7, 80000

You have to change 0xc7 in 0x60, so try where is c7 to change and then save and
retry to flash !

I hope You have got a right Bios Backup file as 1st time You got an error and Backup file was wrong !!!
So You have had to do this list :

1. Modify Fparts.txt
2. Use FPT for Backup
3. AutoMod Patch on Backup
4. Use FPT to reflash Mod Bios

If You used a bad Bios Backup to modify It will be produce a Brick !
let me give a look to your Bios Backup and the file Modded too, so upload here for me !
Try to Clear CMOS (NVRAM) remove all Power cord, battery, etc. reset Motherboard using jumper on It or removed circular battery 3.3V on MoBo and then push Power Button on laptop for 10 sec.
Let me know if your laptop try to start blink some lights or do something !

i exactly did these 4 steps... modify fparts, use FPT for backup, autoMod patch on backup and use FPT to reflash Mod bios... and now, i'm blocked in black screen after flashing my bios.. only the fan is running, and the leds of battery and hdd..
i'll try to clear CMOS

This is not Bio_Region Backup !!!
The file have to be 4608 KB and is not an Win App MZ !
I don't know in which way You got this file, but I replied Always at every question, so I don't know why You don't as to me how to use FPT !!!
This is a full Bios Backup may be the reflashed as Bios_Region, all wrong !
I am sorry but You Bricked laptop (is first time that an user do wrong)

Hi BDMaster! thanks for your answer, but it didn't work.. i don't know if i've missed something but i've done like that.. first, i cleared the cmos by holding power button during 10s and after i press fn+esc and plugged the usb, then i plugged the AC cord, then press power button... and then, i heard one beep but the usb blinked just once and after stopped and nothing happened then i after 10min i decided to restart these steps without the dvd drive but when i arrived in the steps holding fn+esc and press power button, i didn't hear any beep from the laptop...
I think i need to recover my bios from dvd, but i don't know if it's possible or not.
What do you suggest me?

I think You have to buy a SPI PGM and Pomona Soic Clip !
Open the laptop (It's easy and there are many videos) find chips and using
Pomona Clip collect Programmer to the chip.
Then reprogram It quickly and go !
Let me know if You need some assistance to choice SPI Programmer
and disassembling pc.

Hey! I've basically the same laptop G580 (2189) etc. the only thing I wanted to upgrade is the wifi. I just bought Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 and then at boot message came: "Unauthorized Wireless network card is plugged in..." So from what I understand is that I should backup my bios and make a request? Anyhow, I'm totally new at this forum.

Note: I'm not running Windows but run Debian.
